CCBC Holds 32nd Annual Conference, James Jiang Awarded Silver Medal for Outstanding Achievement

Beijing, October 13, 2010 – The 32nd Annual Conference of the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) was grandly held in Beijing, attracting nearly 1,000 representatives from the political and business sectors of both Canada and China. The event coincided with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

During the conference, CCBC presented its prestigious Outstanding Achievement Awards to recognize institutions and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Canada-China cooperation. The Bank of Montreal (BMO) Financial Group received the Gold Award, while James Jiang, Founding Partner of Arche Capital, was honored with the Silver Award for his outstanding leadership in advancing energy and capital collaboration between the two countries. 

 

Established in 1978 and headquartered in Toronto, CCBC has long been committed to fostering deeper cooperation between Canada and China in investment, technological exchange, and policy dialogue. This year’s conference also focused on key topics such as the digital economy and green finance, aligning closely with James Jiang’s recent initiatives in smart energy investments—opening new avenues for bilateral collaboration.
