Arche Capital Joins Canada–China Investment and Trade Dialogue in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, May 20, 2026 — Arche Capital participated in the Canada–China Investment and Trade Reception hosted by Tracy Diehl, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai, at the Museum of Art Pudong. The event was convened under the authorization of the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade.

The reception brought together senior government officials, business leaders, and industry representatives from both countries to advance commercial cooperation and strengthen bilateral economic ties. In opening remarks, Consul General Diehl highlighted Canada’s competitive advantages in trade, energy, agri-food, and innovation, and emphasized Shanghai’s role as a strategic hub for Canada–China economic engagement.

Zane Zhu, Arche Capital’s China Representative, joined discussions on cross-border investment, energy supply chains, and collaboration in agriculture and mining. In conversations with business and sector leaders, Mr. Zhu outlined Arche Capital’s long-standing focus on structural opportunities across energy, resources, technology, and agri-food, and reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to connecting capital, technology, and markets between Canada and China.

During the event, Arche Capital noted that Canada’s strengths in critical minerals, clean energy, and agri-food supply chains, combined with the manufacturing and industrial integration capabilities of Chinese enterprises, create a strong foundation for partnership, particularly in support of the global green transition.

Arche Capital will continue to leverage its role as a cross-border investment platform to advance strategically aligned bilateral projects and contribute to the long-term, stable development of Canada–China economic relations.
